Quotes to Brighten Your Day

Happy Monday everyone! Whether your Monday's are usually stressful or not, today is a day to be happy - like most days! Speaking of being happy... today's post is trying to achieve that. Regardless of whether you're having an amazing, average or crappy day, I'm going to share some of my favourite quotes with you. Whenever I'm feeling down, I rehearse these quotes in my mind to remind myself that life isn't that bad.

My two ultimate favourite quotes that I live by are the final two (numbers 9 & 10). I think of these in anxious/stressful situations, and it helps to relieve the pain.

1) Life is 10 per cent what happens to you and 90 per cent how you react to it. 

2) Be not afraid of going slowly, be afraid only of standing still.

3) If your life seems full of darkness, look and see if it is you who is blocking the light.

4) Fear is only as deep as the mind allows.

5) It only takes one person to help you find happiness in life, and that's you.

6) Pain is inevitable; suffering is optional.

7) A life without problems offers no opportunities to show how strong you are.
